through three decades of our firm's history. In as much as this website
represents an abridged dossier of our work, it showcases many of West
Virginia's nationally recognized historic landmarks, resort destinations and
award winning designs. We are confident that you and those you share this
website with, will have a fond memory of at least a few of these projects and
landmarks.
The firm's core competencies revolve around our
experience with historic preservation, restoration, renovation and adaptive use
of historic properties. What does this mean to prospective clients and how do
these clients gain from this experience? The answer is simple:
First, historic projects garner the attention
of the public on a local and even a national level. Quite often these projects
involve several government agencies, numerous contractors as well as the client
themselves. Our firm accepts the leadership role and responsibility of managing
the objectives and expectations of these entities, while insuring the
successful outcome of all projects. Second, due to the fragility and historical
value of these sites, we are accountable to perform an exacting due diligence
and execution process, whereby we insure that our scope of work will preserve
and enhance the integrity of each site for the enjoyment of generations to
follow.

commercial or private engagements wane in comparison, to the complexities of
managing a historical project.
